I live to love
you should give it a try

who am I

Do you ever wonder if the person you are fooling is really yourself? We all put on a face, a socially accepted, societal pleasing face. We can say that we are real, that we know who we are, that we are true to ourselves, but are we really? Are you? I have always prided myself on my independence, on my belief and trust in the idea of love, and my willingness to drop my structured, rigid, and monotonous day to day “secure” agenda for the sake of love, yet, when the time comes for me to prove to myself that I am who I believe I am I cannot do it. We all get so stuck in what is comfortable, what is safe. Really though, what is safe? Is a “safe” existence one worth living? Is a life void of adventure, spontaneity, and chance the life we want to live? I really think it comes down to fear, in the end that is all it is. I am scared. I just don’t know why.
